Content updates
Toolkit, Key global guides for Australian in-house lawyers is intended to guide the in-house lawyer through the Practical Law's resources most relevant to cross-border legal work in an Australian in-house environment, including global guides which comprise jurisdiction-specific coverage in three key areas: business essentials; legal systems and regulation; and contract and enforcement.
This guide includes links to Practical Law's global platform and dynamic tool set and New Zealand-specific resources. It also contains links to Practical Law's tools to enable subscribers practising across borders, and in regional roles, to quickly discover, review and compare information, and answer key questions, about doing a variety of transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
For resources to support in-house lawyers from legal operations to managing the legal team, budgets, external counsel and downloadable training presentations, see Practical Law Australia's In-house centre.
Practical Law Australia’s expert legal writers have practical expertise gained from some of the country's leading law firms and corporate legal departments, including Ashurst, Baker & McKenzie, Gilbert + Tobin, Herbert Smith Freehills, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and more. They understand the pressure to deliver timely and cost effective legal advice, which is why Practical Law’s fully maintained practice notes, precedents, drafting notes and checklists offer clear and concise know-how with a practical perspective.
