David Catterns QC is retiring and has stepped down from his role as Consulting Editor of the Federal Court Reports. We would like to take this opportunity to thank David for his outstanding contribution to the Federal Court Reports over many years.

We are pleased to advise that barristers Sarah Somerset and David Ash have accepted the roles of consulting editors to the series.

Mr Ash was admitted as a barrister in NSW in 1998 and was a member of the NSW Bar Council for a number of years. He is the editor of the Forbes Flyer, the quarterly newsletter of the Francis Forbes Society for Australian Legal History. Ms Somerset has been reporting for over 10 years for the Federal Court Reports and Federal Law Reports.

Mr Ash and Ms Somerset join Editor Victor Kline and existing Consulting Editor Oren Bigos on the FCR Editorial Board.
